Welcome to the new Libertarian Party of El Paso County website! The previous website, a wordpress site, was solidly built that lasted for more than 13 years. Most websites don't last very long, maybe a few years, but the OG website lasted more than a decade! Amazing. (Thank you, Lance!)

I built this website for the LPEPC to begin a new era, a new chapter for the party. Following the April LPEPC board meeting, I talked with Brian, our Chair, and mentioned it was time to change the website, a complete rebuild, and he agreed. We developed a short plan to build the website; we began first with a mock-up of this website and sent it to the LPEPC board with positive reviews. Then we built what you see now.

In building this new website, I've hopefully captured the essence of the Libertarian Party of El Paso County and made it functional. On this new website, you can find bylaws, meet the candidates running for office, and learn more about the platform of the Libertarian Party. The blog has meeting minutes and agendas for those of you who like those documents. Moving forward, we'll publish more blogs and content for you. Our events calendar will grow as we find and add more events; if you're running for office in El Paso County as a registered Libertarian, send me your events to add to our calendar. Meet & Greets, candidate forums, trash pick-up/volunteer days -- anything that Libertarians can know about and participate with you -- send me your event information to communications@lpepc.org. I will add your event(s) to the calendar.

I encourage you to look around the new website. Check it out. Share it with your friends, family, and colleagues. Or bookmark it for yourself -- this website was built for you and Libertarians in El Paso County!

Finally, more changes will be coming soon to the website, such as an LPEPC newsletter. Be sure to add your email and contact info by clicking the Join button and filling out the tables so you can receive our newsletters, blogs, and stay up-to-date with Libertarians in El Paso County, Colorado.

See you at the May 18th board meeting!
